Busy Weekend

We started the weekend off right with a win by Austin's baseball team on Friday night - they are now 8-1. It's so much more fun watching kids win! Austin's buddy (the tallest one below) came over for a sleepover that night. The sleepover blossomed to 5 kids by the time they were done - 5 very loud energetic kids. They finally wound down around around 3 in the morning.

Having that many kids around came in handy the next morning when I went out and bought a trampoline. Two of Austin's friends (and Austin) helped me put it together - we were good to go in about 30 minutes! It was our turn for the trampoline. At one point, every house in our cul-de-sac has had a trampoline, but they've all been used very well (i.e. holes worn in the fabric, springs flipping off while they are jumping, etc.). It was our turn (heavy sigh). The kids (including all the neighbors) have been jumping non-stop!

While all this was going on - Brian was off to Chicago, sitting at Wrigley Field watching the Cubbies play. We weren't jealous at all!
