My Son the Hero

Austin has been saving Target gift cards to get a PS2 game. He would add them up frequently - calculating what he still needed - and he finally got the last $13 he needed this week (by trying ketchup for the 1st time - but that's another story). With the final $13 and multiple gift cards in hand, we all made the trek to Target to get Guitar Hero III!

We haven't seen much of Austin since he got it. He brought it out to the main t.v. today and we actually saw what he was playing. He's pretty darn good - I know this because I also watched Caitlin give it a go and there was a bit of a difference (no offense to Catie - she just doesn't get to play as much).

So Austin wanted to say "thanks" to all those who gave him gift cards this year!

Speaking of Caitlin, she is very proud of the newest hole in her smile. It only took about 3 weeks of the tooth teetering on the edge of falling out before it made the final exodus.
