BAD (very bad) news... no "Glee" for 2 weeks.

Good news... since we had to miss "Glee" tonight, at least the Phillies won (sorry, Austin ... well, not really).

Pumpkin Patch

Before the snow started flying this week, we made our annual trek to the pumpkin patch. The place was packed, so I'm trying to figure out how I managed to get a picture without people in the background (it's a mother's day miracle!). Caitlin was surprisingly willing to let me take her picture (she is not particularly fond of having her picture taken nowadays - perhaps I took too many pictures of her when she was younger).

Bless Austin's heart - more manual labor.

Now let's see if we manage to carve all the pumpkins we purchased.

I keep thinking I need to put something on the blog, but then I think, "well, nothing is going on." Then I start to wonder, "how can that be when we're only actually at our house maybe one night a week?" (Yes - I do tend to have quite a bit of inner dialogue.) Here are some snapshots of the randomness that keeps us busy...

Going to football games to watch "the cheerleader." (more on her later)Going to baseball games (usually freezing our tuckuses off).
Making my children do manual labor.
School projects for Caitlin

Making sure the DVR has enough space by hanging out with all my TV friends (a.k.a. spending my one night a week at home productively).
Keeping tabs on the construction progress.
Eventually something exciting will happen. Until then, I'll continue to count the days until "New Moon" comes out.

Friday Fun

For some reason, I just never get sick of this song. Here's a couple of fun clips for ya. I should probably find the butt-slapping at the 1:37 mark disturbing, but hey, she's got the diaper padding... it's all good.

From my favorite show - although I was concerned they were going to be called for "delay of game" or "illegal motion"...

The rest of the weekend...

Well... football season is here and after years and years on the waiting list, our name finally came up. We now have our Bronco season tickets.

So after Jessie's party Friday night, we got all packed up and headed out first thing Saturday morning for Denver. Here is a pic of about the only interesting thing in Wyoming on the way to Denver..windmills - lots and lots of windmills. My kids crack me up. We go all the way to Denver and the only thing they want to do is swim.

Our hotel was pretty close to the stadium so we headed over early (after we dragged the kids out of the pool...AGAIN).
Caitlin and Austin got air-brushed before the game. In case you're wondering, Caitlin got the Bronco logo on her black strips and Austin had a blue Bronco helmet put on his cheek. With Miles the mascot.

Can you believe the Broncos actually won??!! It was a really fun game to watch.

The drive home... not so fun. There was a lovely snow storm as we were heading back through Wyoming.

Okay - I need to start my negotiations for next year. This was the only game I get to go to this year. Austin gets to go to 2 games - how does he rate?
